RESPONSE: El-Rufa'i Has Never Gifted Any Car To IZALA Chairman - Ibrahim Baba Suleiman

...It Is A Defamatory Campaign Propagated By Uncultured Citizens. 

In what clearly appears to be a deliberate attempt to defame the IZALA institution through campaign of calumny against Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau by releasing pictures of two SUVs alleging that the vehicles were given to the organization's Chairman as reward for IZALA's recent endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari in his second term bid come 2019 elections, claiming that the vehicles were delivered by Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufa'i, I hereby make the following statement: 

That the information as circulated by Sahara Reporters (and other news handles) is false, libelous and carries no weight of truth. I wish to painfully note the uncalled actions of other uncultured citizens and apparently enemies of the IZALA movement who were quick to copy, paste and widely share across in their bid to broadcast this aspersion. They did not only stop at that, but went on to ignorantly castigate and insult our exalted scholars.  

For the records, it is authoritative to state that neither Governor El-Rufa'i nor President Buhari has ever gifted Sheikh Bala Lau with any type of vehicle.

For purposes of precision, Sheikh Lau is personally entitled to all the vehicles he uses by purchasing them himself. Interestingly, Sheikh Lau has been blessed with sufficient state of the art utility vehicles which even Governor El-Rufa'i may not have.

I, therefore, challenge President Buhari and Governor El-Rufa'i to bring to public knowledge if they had ever gifted any car to Sheikh Bala Lau.

I am displeased at people who have no regard to people's integrity but easily fall prey into the hands of mischief makers by aiding them to falsely rubbish and taint other high sounding figures, black, all as a result of cheap political gains.

My final words are that whoever sows good, shall reap good and vice versa. This is but a cruel world, we are watching.
